East Asia Warfare: A Look at Warring States China (475 BC - 221 BC)

My name is Victor Chen I am a third year Anthropology Major here at UCF. My main focus is Cultural Anthropology, but everything in Anthropology is so interesting it's hard not to dabble a bit in it all. I hope to go into the Academic part of Anthropology and contribute to our understanding of who we are. My wiki topic is focusing on East Asian warfare, specifically in ancient China. I will be focusing on the Warring States Era (475 BC to 221 BC) looking at the weaponry, technological advances, military tactics, and army composition among a few things. Hopefully by studying this I can gain a better understanding of the dynamic social shift that took place that caused a few centuries worth of bloodshed.
